How we verify every name
- Official usage: the name ranked in the U.S. top 1,000 in at least one year from 2005 to 2024 (Social Security Administration data).
- Native-language lists: the identical spelling appears in that language’s name lists: at least 2 regional lists for Spanish, French and German, and at least 1 for Portuguese and Italian.
- Easy to type: plain A to Z letters only, so the spelling is the same on any keyboard.
