What is stored

Saving or entering a private workspace creates an opaque, necessary session cookie. Guest shortlists, notes, partner choices and poll votes are stored in the application database. An optional account adds a username and a salted scrypt password hash. Recovery keys are stored as keyed hashes, never as readable keys.

Theme preference, explicitly bookmarked tool IDs and pet-name favourites are saved in your browser’s local storage. No game nickname or quiz answer is stored with a bookmark. Pet favourites are separate from server-based baby-name shortlists. A remembered invitation or poll token may be kept in session storage for that browser tab so reloading can continue the task.

Calculator and studio inputs

Love, birthday, date and numerology inputs, new entertainment-game inputs, pet-generator selections, full-name studio fields and their results are calculated locally. The application does not send those values to its server and does not persist them. A browser or device may retain its own history or form state. Only copy or share a result deliberately.

Sharing

A partner invite reveals mutual likes, not the other person’s individual likes or passes. Anyone with a valid invitation can take the second spot, so share privately. Family-poll links reveal the title and selected first names to anyone holding the link. Notes and surnames are not automatically included. Poll votes are limited per account or guest identity, not verified human identity.

Technical and aggregate information

The application stores daily aggregate counts of a limited set of events, such as saving names, without raw name inputs or identifiers in those metrics. Rate limits use keyed hashes and expire. The default app access log is disabled. The host or reverse proxy may still keep operational logs; the operator must document its actual retention and processor arrangements.

Advertising and consent

Advertising is disabled until the operator completes configuration and audience review. Selected public advertising pages may load Google AdSense and the configured consent platform. Google-native mode uses published Google Privacy & messaging notices; an external TCF mode loads AdSense only after the adapter receives the required explicit consent.

Optional rewarded content-access messages may appear on the three Bonus Lounge pack pages. Google controls ad availability, its message, completion and the access entitlement. The main Bonus Lounge page contains controls to skip optional ads for this browser tab. This preference is stored in session storage and is not advertising consent. It can be reversed from the same page.

Core calculator and entertainment input pages, pet studios, name-studio pages and private workspaces do not load advertising scripts. The app does not pass their inputs, birthdays, notes or results to ad services. Ad and consent providers can process technical information and use cookies or other storage on enabled public pages according to their notices. Third-party scripts on those public pages operate under their own data practices; the operator must disclose and review the actual configuration.

To manage advertising consent, use the privacy controls on a public page where the configured consent platform is active. The Bonus Lounge also provides the independent tab-level ad-skip preference. Core use is not conditioned on consenting to ads. The operator must review applicable age treatment, regional notices and retention before enabling monetization.

Retention and deletion

Sessions expire after 30 days. Inactive guests are deleted after 90 days when daily maintenance runs. Partner invitations last 7 days and are consumed when joined. Family polls expire after 30 days. Account data remains until deletion. You can export and delete through your account controls. Deletion removes live records; an operator’s encrypted backups may persist until their stated rotation expires. The provided backup instructions recommend a 30-day retention ceiling but do not schedule deletion automatically.

Children and sensitive data

Funmello combines name-discovery tools with general-audience entertainment that may also appeal to teenagers. Anonymous games do not require a real name, exact age, email address or account. Avoid entering identifying information about yourself or other people. The operator must assess the audience, applicable age/consent rules and account practices before public launch; no age-verification system is included. Do not enter health details, government IDs, full dates of birth in notes or other unnecessary sensitive information. Calculator date fields are processed locally.

Contact the operator for access, correction or other applicable privacy rights. Hosting location, external processors and any region-specific supplements must be confirmed by the operator before public launch.
