How we make and check our content
What we publish, where it comes from, how it is checked and how to report a mistake.
Who runs Funmello
RHMC operates this website. There are no named expert authors or reviewers, and no page claims otherwise.
What we publish
- Games and generators are entertainment. Results are drawn at random from lists written for each game and are labelled as fictional, never as predictions, diagnoses or advice.
- Name data comes from cited datasets: U.S. Social Security Administration statistics and open-source name lists. We do not invent meanings, origins or cultures; an empty field stays empty. See sources.
- Printables, party cards and challenges are original and written to be clean and kind for teens and families.
How content is made
Funmello uses AI writing tools to help draft game prompts, page copy and articles. The operator is responsible for everything that is published. Data pages (name statistics, trends, bilingual collections) are generated from the datasets listed on the sources page, and every number on them comes from those files.
How it is checked
- Every release runs automated checks: tests for every game and tool, content rules for party and challenge cards (banned topics, duplicates), and a site audit for broken links, missing titles or descriptions, duplicate titles, invalid structured data, sitemap accuracy and repeated template text.
- Pages are only offered to search engines when they meet a distinct need with their own content. Usable but near-identical pages, such as a name with nothing beyond its spelling, stay available to visitors but are not indexed.
- Automated checks do not replace human judgement; pages they flag are queued for an editorial review.

Advertising
Funmello is free to use because it shows Google ads. Ads are labelled “Advertisements”, are kept away from game buttons and are never shown on private pages, error pages or pages without real content. We never ask anyone to click an ad.
Corrections and changes
If something is wrong, out of date or inappropriate, please tell us at support@funmello.com. Confirmed errors are fixed in the next release. Content and data changes are listed in the project change log with each version.
