How this works

All decimal digits in the YYYYMMDD birth date are added. The sum is reduced repeatedly until one digit remains, except that 11, 22 and 33 are retained. Numerology traditions differ; this page uses only that stated digit-sum convention.

An example

January 1, 2000 gives 2+0+0+0+0+1+0+1 = 4 using this convention.

Good to know

Does this predict my future?+

No. The interpretation is a creative reflection prompt with no predictive validity.

Why do other websites show a different number?+

They may use a different reduction convention. This tool describes and exposes its own method.

Privacy controls

Core features use a necessary session cookie. Your theme choice, explicitly bookmarked tool IDs and saved pet-name favourites are stored on this device. Calculator and game inputs are not stored by the site.

Funmello is free because public pages show Google ads. Google’s consent message asks visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland (and offers US state opt-outs) before personalised ads are used. Accounts, shortlists, polls and the name studio never load ad code, and nothing you type into a game or calculator is sent to Google. Bonus Lounge packs may offer an optional rewarded ad.
