Name numerology
Turn the letters of a name into a playful number and a journaling prompt.
A fictional interpretation, not a scientific assessment.
How this works
Latin letters A–Z are assigned repeating values 1–9 (A=1, I=9, J=1). Accents are folded when possible; spaces and non-Latin characters are ignored. The sum is reduced to one digit, retaining 11, 22 and 33.
An example
ANA gives A=1, N=5, A=1, for a total of 7. A different spelling can produce a different number.
Good to know
Does it work with every writing system?+
No. This version uses Latin A–Z after accent folding. It does not pretend that another script has an equivalent conversion.
Should I choose a baby name based on the number?+
No. Treat it as entertainment, not a reason to choose or reject a name.
