HOW TO PLAY

Color Sequence Memory

  1. Tap Start and watch which pads light up.
  2. Repeat the same pattern by tapping the pads (or keys 1 to 4).
  3. Each round adds one colour. One wrong tap ends the game.
HOW SCORING WORKS

The rules in detail

The sequence starts with one colour and grows by one random colour each round, so colours can repeat. Each light shows for 0.6 seconds, 0.45 seconds from round 6 and 0.35 seconds from round 12. Your score is the number of rounds you finished before the first wrong tap, and your best is kept on this device. The pads are numbered 1 to 4 so you can play by number as well as by colour.

Tips

  • Say the colours or numbers out loud as they light up.
  • Group the sequence into chunks of three or four, like a phone number.
  • On a keyboard, rest four fingers on keys 1 to 4.
