The rules in detail
The board has 7 columns and 6 rows. You play red and always go first. Easy computer: takes a winning move if it has one, blocks your immediate win, otherwise picks a random column. Hard computer: also looks five moves ahead and prefers the centre, so it is a real challenge but can be beaten. Wins, losses and draws are tallied until you leave the page.
Tips
- Take the centre column early: it is part of the most possible lines.
- Build threats on two rows at once so the computer can only block one.
- Before every move, check whether your opponent can win next turn.
